Job Description

At Amtrak, we are looking for an Enterprise Network Engineering & Convergence IT Intern with a passion for technology to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a motivated individual who is eager to learn and has the qualifications to excel in this role. This individual should be a self-starter and have a strong desire to work in a fast-paced IT environment.The Enterprise Network Engineering & Convergence IT Intern will be responsible for working on our internal network and system infrastructure, performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting, and helping to develop and improve our existing processes. We are looking for an Intern who has experience in network engineering and/or IT convergence, and is comfortable working with a variety of computer systems, applications, and hardware. The successful candidate will have strong technical skills, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.Required Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field• Experience with network engineering and/or IT convergence• Proficiency with computers and computer software, such as Microsoft Office and Windows• Experience with system administration and networking• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
