3D Medical Animator

Assumes leadership in all phases of the medical visualization production process including 3D modeling, surfacing, lighting, rendering, delivery and archive, with emphasis on 3D animation. Designs and creates engaging 3D animations including high-res 3D models of human anatomy and surgical equipment. Reviews animation and visualization projects to determine the type and number of physical and 3D assets required. Examines surgical videos, still and stock footage as required. Observes surgical demonstrations including cadaver dissections. Coordinates with Department Managers, Marketing Team Leaders and Product Managers to produce CG Animation and Imagery. Actively researches and test new digital tools to implement into animation team workflow. Helps to implement new hardware and software used by the animation team.
