  1. Utilize CAD and BIM software to create accurate and detailed technical drawings and models for various engineering and design projects.
  2. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other team members to ensure accurate and efficient delivery of design solutions.
  3. Maintain and update CAD and BIM libraries to ensure consistency and reliability of project deliverables.
  4. Conduct quality checks on CAD and BIM work to ensure adherence to company and industry standards.
  5. Stay up-to-date with new software updates and industry trends to continuously improve efficiency and quality of work.
  6. Communicate effectively with project team members to understand project requirements and provide timely deliverables.
  7. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to CAD and BIM software.
  8. Participate in design review meetings and provide valuable insights and suggestions for improvement.
  9. Adhere to project timelines and deliver work within agreed upon deadlines.
  10. Maintain organized and accurate project files and documentation.
  11. Ensure compliance with company and industry standards for information management and data security.
  12. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and workflows to increase efficiency and quality of work.
  13. Act as a mentor to junior CAD and BIM technicians and provide guidance and support as needed.
  14. Proactively identify and communicate potential project risks and propose solutions to mitigate them.
  15. Embrace and promote a culture of innovation and sustainability within the organization.

Job Qualifications
  • Proficiency In Cad And Bim Software: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Extensive Experience And Expertise In Using Industry Standard Cad And Bim Software Such As Autocad, Revit, And Navisworks.

  • Knowledge Of Building Design And Construction: A Strong Understanding Of Building Design Principles And Construction Processes Is Necessary To Effectively Utilize Cad And Bim Tools For Project Delivery.

  • Experience In Multi-Disciplinary Coordination: Arup Is Known For Its Integrated Approach To Design, And The Cad & Bim Technician Should Have Experience In Coordinating And Collaborating With Different Disciplines To Deliver High-Quality Projects.

  • Familiarity With Project Management Tools: The Candidate Should Be Familiar With Project Management Tools Such As Bim360 And Aconex, And Be Able To Effectively Manage And Track Project Progress Using These Tools.

  • Attention To Detail And Problem-Solving Skills: A Cad & Bim Technician At Arup Should Have Excellent Attention To Detail And Strong Problem-Solving Skills To Ensure Accuracy And Quality In Project Deliverables.
