You will be responsible for leading the EIA process, coordinating with project teams and stakeholders, and providing expert guidance on all aspects of environmental impact.We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a minimum of 8 years of experience in environmental consulting, specifically within the energy sector. You should have a strong understanding of EIA regulations and processes, as well as experience managing and coordinating multi-disciplinary project teams.   1. Lead the EIA process for energy sector projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  2. Provide expert guidance and advice on all aspects of environmental impact to clients and project teams.
  3. Coordinate with project teams, stakeholders, and relevant authorities to ensure timely and accurate completion of EIAs.
  4. Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify potential environmental impacts and develop mitigation strategies.
  5. Manage and coordinate multi-disciplinary project teams to ensure all aspects of the EIA are addressed.
  6. Collaborate with clients to understand their sustainability goals and develop environmentally responsible solutions for their projects.
  7. Keep up-to-date with industry developments and changes in environmental regulations, and adapt EIA processes accordingly.
  8. Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and external stakeholders to build strong relationships and ensure project success.
  9. Review and approve all EIA documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  10. Represent the company at public hearings, meetings, and other forums related to EIA processes.
  11. Mentor and train junior EIA team members, sharing knowledge and expertise to support their professional development.
  12. Maintain a strong commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship in all aspects of the job.
  13. Collaborate with other departments and teams within the company to promote and integrate environmental considerations into project design and development.
  14. Take ownership of project budgets and timelines, ensuring that EIA processes are completed within allocated resources.
  15. Contribute to business development efforts by identifying potential clients and opportunities, and participating in proposal writing and presentations.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge And Experience In Conducting Environmental Impact Assessments (Eias) For Energy Sector Projects, Including Renewable Energy, Conventional Energy, And Transmission Infrastructure.

  • In-Depth Understanding Of Relevant Environmental Regulations And Legislation Related To Energy Sector Projects, Such As The National Environmental Policy Act (Nepa) And State-Level Regulations.

  • Strong Project Management Skills, Including The Ability To Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously, Meet Deadlines, And Effectively Communicate With Clients And Stakeholders.

  • Proven Experience In Leading And Coordinating Multidisciplinary Teams, Including Environmental Specialists, Engineers, And Planners, To Deliver High-Quality Eia Reports And Environmental Permits.

  • Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Technical Information To A Variety Of Audiences, Including Clients, Regulatory Agencies, And The General Public.
