- Safely operate and maintain company-owned commercial vehicles, including semi-trucks and trailers, to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to customers.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while on the road.
- Plan and organize delivery routes to ensure on-time and accurate delivery of products to customers.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in proper working condition.
- Communicate effectively with team members and dispatch to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Load and unload products from trucks using appropriate equipment and techniques to prevent damage.
- Complete necessary paperwork, including delivery logs, invoices, and receipts, accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle, both inside and out, to uphold a professional image for the company.
- Provide exceptional customer service by delivering products in a friendly and courteous manner and addressing any customer concerns or questions.
- Continuously monitor traffic conditions and adjust routes as needed to avoid delays and ensure timely delivery.
- Adhere to company standards for product handling and delivery to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Comply with all company and state regulations regarding the transportation of goods, including proper documentation and permits.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, representing the company in a positive light to customers and the general public.
- Attend and participate in training and meetings as required to stay updated on company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Perform any other duties or tasks assigned by the company to support the delivery and logistics team.
