Stock Associate

1. Receive and process incoming stock, including unpacking, scanning, labeling, and stocking items into designated areas.
2. Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate records of stock levels.
3. Organize and maintain the stockroom to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of items.
4. Collaborate with the sales team to ensure stock is readily available for customer purchases.
5. Assist with the assembly and display of furniture items on the showroom floor.
6. Monitor product quality, report any damages or defects, and initiate returns or exchanges as needed.
7. Keep track of stock expiry dates and rotate inventory accordingly.
8. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety and health regulations.
9. Assist with loading and unloading of delivery trucks and ensure accurate transfer of stock.
10. Communicate any stock shortages or issues to the management team in a timely manner.
11. Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a positive and efficient work environment.
12. Continuously seek ways to improve stock management processes and suggest ideas for increasing efficiency.
13. Comply with company policies and procedures, including dress code and punctuality.
14. Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with customers or assisting with their inquiries.
15. Attend training sessions and departmental meetings to stay updated on company policies and procedures.
