- Establish and nurture strong relationships with key enterprise clients, serving as their primary point of contact for all account-related matters.
- Develop and implement strategic account plans to drive growth, retention, and customer satisfaction within assigned accounts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance on the use and benefits of our products and services.
- Monitor and analyze account metrics, identifying trends and proactively addressing any potential issues or concerns.
- Conduct regular business reviews with clients to ensure their needs are being met and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to inform account strategies and recommendations.
- Act as an advocate for clients within the company, effectively communicating their needs and feedback to internal teams.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to support new customer acquisition and lead generation initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of account activities and interactions in CRM system.
- Travel to client sites as needed to foster in-person relationships and attend industry events and conferences.
- Continuously strive to exceed sales targets and meet or exceed performance metrics.
- Represent Atlassian in a professional and positive manner at all times, reinforcing our brand and values.
Extensive Experience In Managing Global Accounts: A Successful Candidate For The Global Account Manager Role At Atlassian Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Managing Large, Global Accounts In A B2B Environment. This Experience Should Include Successfully Building And Maintaining Relationships With Key Stakeholders, Driving Growth And Revenue, And Delivering Exceptional Customer Service And Satisfaction.
Strong Understanding Of Enterprise Software: Atlassian's Products And Services Are Primarily Targeted Towards Enterprise Customers, And As Such, The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Enterprise Software Solutions. This Includes Knowledge Of The Software Development Lifecycle, Project Management Methodologies, And Collaboration Tools Commonly Used In Large Organizations.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Global Account Manager, You Will Be Responsible For Building And Maintaining Relationships With Clients From Diverse Cultural Backgrounds. Therefore, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are A Must. This Includes The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Both Technical And Non-Technical Stakeholders, As Well As The Ability To Adapt Communication Styles To Different Cultures.
Strategic Thinking And Problem-Solving Abilities: The Global Account Manager Role At Atlassian Requires The Ability To Think Strategically And Identify Opportunities For Growth Within Existing Accounts. The Ideal Candidate Should Also Possess Strong Problem-Solving Skills And The Ability To Navigate Complex Client Relationships And Challenges.
