Aviva is looking for a talented and experienced HR Business Partner to join our team and take on an integral role in driving the success of our organization. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong HR background, and a passion for foster growth and development within our team.The HR Business Partner will be responsible for providing HR services to a wide variety of teams within Aviva, including working closely with managers to assess and meet their HR needs. This role requires an individual with a solid understanding of HR principles, processes, and best practices, as well as the ability to develop strong relationships with the people they work with. The HR Business Partner will be a key contributor to the development of our team through coaching, mentoring, and providing insight into the challenges they face. To be successful in this role, applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, and at least five years of experience in an HR role. Previous experience in a business partner capacity is ideal. The ideal candidate will also have a keen understanding of employment law and the ability to provide strategic counsel to support organizational objectives. Responsibilities:
- Implement HR strategies and initiatives that support Aviva’s overall business objectives.
- Provide advice and guidance on HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local employment laws.
- Develop strong relationships with managers and team members to assess and meet their HR needs.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to managers and team members to foster growth and development.
- Support the recruitment process by developing job descriptions, screening applicants, and conducting interviews.
- Facilitate performance management activities, such as performance reviews and disciplinary action.
- Monitor employee engagement and work with managers to address any areas of concern.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations.
- Monitor and analyze HR metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide strategic counsel to support organizational objectives.
