  1. Develop and maintain credit rating models and systems to accurately assess the credit risk of Aviva's clients.
  2. Conduct ongoing credit risk analysis and monitor changes in market conditions and client financials to identify potential areas of risk.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure credit risk policies and procedures are in line with industry regulations and best practices.
  4. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on the credit risk profile of the organization.
  5. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate credit risk and minimize losses for the organization.
  6. Conduct regular reviews of Aviva's credit portfolio and make recommendations for improvements and adjustments as needed.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with external credit rating agencies to ensure accurate and timely credit assessments.
  8. Lead and mentor a team of credit analysts, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends and developments related to credit risk management and implement relevant changes or improvements to Aviva's internal processes.
  10. Foster a culture of risk awareness and accountability within the organization, promoting a proactive approach to credit risk management.
  11. Collaborate with other departments, such as underwriting and claims, to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive approach to managing credit risk.
  12. Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by senior management.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Accounting, Or A Related Field.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Various Stakeholders And Present Findings To Senior Management.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Credit Risk Management, Preferably In A Financial Institution.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret Complex Financial Data And Make Sound Credit Decisions.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Credit Risk Assessment Methodologies And Regulatory Requirements.
