2G Nursing Assistant, Days

The 2G Nursing Assistant at Baptist Health (Kentucky) is a crucial member of our patient care team. We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to join us in providing excellent care to our patients. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary qualifications and possess a strong desire to make a positive impact on the lives of our patients.The successful candidate must possess a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of prior experience in a healthcare setting, and a current CNA certification. Responsibilities:

1. Provide excellent patient care in accordance with Baptist Health standards and regulations
2. Assist patients with activities of daily living
3. Implement physician orders and document patient’s vital signs and progress accurately
4. Report any changes in patient’s condition to the nursing staff in a timely manner
5. Participate in patient teaching activities
6. Assist nursing staff in providing a safe and comfortable environment for patients
7. Follow infection control protocols
8. Provide emotional support to patients and families
9. Assist with patient transport
10. Maintain a clean and organized work environment
