We are looking for an experienced and collaborative Biomedical Equipment Technician to join the team at Baptist Health (Kentucky). In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing a variety of medical equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical and communication skills, along with a commitment to providing excellent customer service.To be successful in this role, you must have prior experience working with medical equipment, knowledge of safety regulations, and a valid drivers license. In addition, you should have excellent problem-solving and diagnostic abilities and a commitment to staying up to date on the latest technology. Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain, repair, and install medical equipment in accordance with safety regulations.
  2. Perform diagnostics and troubleshoot issues with medical equipment.
  3. Stay up to date on the latest technology in biomedical equipment.
  4. Provide excellent customer service to patients and staff.
  5. Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient and effective maintenance of medical equipment.
  6. Create and maintain records of equipment maintenance and repairs.
  7. Follow safety protocols when handling medical equipment.
  8. Drive to various locations as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Ged

  • Associate's Degree In Biomedical Equipment Technology Or A Related Field

  • A Minimum Of One Year Of Experience In A Healthcare Setting And/Or Experience In Medical Equipment Installation

  • Maintenance And Repair

  • Knowledge Of Medical Equipment Including Electronic

  • Electromechanical And Mechanical Operating Principles

  • Ability To Use Precision Measuring And Diagnostic Equipment

  • Ability To Read And Interpret Technical Manuals And Drawings
