Job Description

At Baptist Health (Kentucky), we are committed to providing our patients with the highest quality of emergency care and are looking for a Director of Emergency Services to join our team. The ideal candidate is a compassionate, patient-focused leader with a commitment to excellence and outstanding communication skills. In this role, you will lead and oversee all aspects of our Emergency Services team, ensuring exceptional care is provided to our patients and their families. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in emergency care, preferably in a leadership position, and possess a deep understanding of the latest trends and best practices in emergency services. They must be a motivator, mentor, and coach who can empower and guide their team to success. The ideal candidate will also be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and possess excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and oversee all aspects of Emergency Services team, ensuring exceptional care is provided to patients and their families.
  2. Maintain a deep understanding of the latest trends and best practices in emergency services.
  3. Motivate, mentor, and coach team members to success.
  4. Develop and implement strategies to enhance patient experience and outcomes.
  5. Monitor patient care and staff performance to ensure quality standards are met.
  6. Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with physicians, staff, and other healthcare professionals.
  7. Develop, implement, and evaluate policies, procedures, and protocols.
  8. Prepare and manage departmental budgets.
  9. Respond to and resolve patient complaints and inquiries.
  10. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards.

Job Qualifications
