  1. Conduct pre-procedure assessments and obtain informed consent from patients.
  2. Prepare and assist with endoscopic procedures, including setting up equipment and administering sedation.
  3. Monitor patients' vital signs and response to sedation during procedures.
  4. Provide post-procedure care and education to patients and their families.
  5. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and procedures performed.
  6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  7. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
  8. Keep up-to-date with current practices and developments in endoscopy nursing.
  9. Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during procedures.
  10. Advocate for patients' needs and rights, ensuring they receive high-quality and compassionate care.
  11. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to improving patient outcomes.
  12. Communicate effectively with physicians, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.

  14. Provide guidance and support to less experienced endoscopy nurses and assist with their training and development.
