Limited Radiology Tech Medical Assistant

We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and passionate Limited Radiology Tech Medical Assistant to join the team at Baptist Health in Kentucky. In this role, you will be responsible for providing radiology and clinical services for our patients. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience in a radiology and/or medical field, have strong technical skills, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. We require that you possess a current medical assistant certification from a recognized accreditation body. Responsibilities:

1. Perform radiographic exams under the direction of a radiologist.
2. Ensure the delivery of quality patient care while providing efficient and accurate patient services.
3. Prepare and maintain patient records, including patient histories and billing information.
4. Assist the radiologist with procedures, patient positioning, and patient preparation.
5. Prepare and maintain medical equipment and supplies.
6. Ensure patient safety during radiographic exams.
7. Prepare, secure, and maintain all necessary paperwork and documentation.
8. Maintain a clean and organized working environment.
9. Follow all safety and infection control procedures.
10. Provide patient education regarding radiographic procedures.
