Mammography Technologist- Screening

The Mammography Technologist will be responsible for performing screening mammography exams, providing excellent patient care, and following proper safety protocols. This position also requires knowledge of the latest medical imaging technology and the ability to effectively operate equipment. The ideal candidate for this position must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and have strong communication skills. To be considered for this position, applicants must have a valid certification in mammography, a minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, and a current state license in radiologic technology.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform screening mammography exams in accordance with established protocols
2. Provide excellent patient care and follow proper safety protocols
3. Maintain knowledge of the latest medical imaging technology and effectively operate equipment
4. Provide accurate documentation of mammography exams
5. Ensure that all patient records are up-to-date
6. Ensure a safe and secure environment for patients
7. Assist other medical staff with patient preparation and positioning
8. Troubleshoot any equipment issues
9. Ensure the accuracy of patient information
10. Maintain a clean and organized work area
