1. Assist in the treatment of patients with mental health conditions under the supervision of a licensed healthcare professional.
2. Conduct initial patient assessments and gather relevant medical information.
3. Monitor and record patients' vital signs and communicate any changes to the healthcare team.
4. Administer medications and treatments as directed by the healthcare team.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for patients.
6. Provide emotional support and comfort to patients during appointments.
7. Educate patients and their families about their condition and treatment plan.
8. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
9. Follow all safety and infection control protocols to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
10. Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
11. Assist with scheduling appointments and maintaining patient flow.
12. Participate in ongoing training and education to stay updated on best practices in behavioral health.
13. Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
14. Foster a positive and welcoming environment for patients and their families.
15. Perform other duties as assigned by the healthcare team.
