Job Description

Baptist Health in Kentucky is seeking a talented and committed Occupational Therapist to join our robust team in an inpatient setting. This is a great opportunity to collaborate with a diverse team of medical professionals and provide top-notch patient care. We are looking for a compassionate, skilled, and reliable Occupational Therapist who is eager to bring their professional experience and expertise to this role. The successful candidate will have a master's degree in Occupational Therapy, current license in the state of Kentucky, at least two years of experience in Occupational Therapy, and the ability to work effectively in a team setting. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential for executing the clinical duties of the position. We are looking for a professional who is committed to providing the highest level of care to our patients and their families.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients’ well-being, safety, and function.
  2. Develop and implement treatment plans to address physical, emotional, cognitive, and psychosocial impairments and disabilities.
  3. Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatments as needed.
  4. Collaborate with a diverse medical team to ensure effective and comprehensive patient care.
  5. Educate patients and their families on therapeutic interventions and lifestyle modifications.
  6. Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
  7. Adhere to all state and federal regulations for Occupational Therapy.
  8. Maintain current license in the state of Kentucky.
  9. Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Current Licensed Occupational Therapist In The State Of Kentucky

  • Bachelor’s Degree In Occupational Therapy From An Accredited Institution

  • Certification From The National Board For Certification In Occupational Therapy (Nbcot)

  • At Least One Year Of Inpatient Experience
