
Philanthropy Development Officer
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Philanthropy Development Officer to join our team at Baptist Health in Kentucky. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing our fundraising initiatives in order to support the organization's goals and mission. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in fundraising, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a passion for philanthropy. To be considered for this position, you must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and have at least five years of experience in philanthropy and/or fundraising. Experience in event planning and/or grant writing is also an asset. You must also have a strong understanding of donor relations and be able to effectively interact with stakeholders from a broad variety of backgrounds. Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage fundraising initiatives to support the organization's goals and mission.
- Create and maintain relationships with stakeholders from a broad variety of backgrounds.
- Develop strategies to identify and cultivate potential donors.
- Execute fundraising campaigns and events to generate financial support for the organization.
- Track and monitor fundraising progress and results.
- Develop and maintain donor relations and stewardship programs.
- Prepare grant applications and coordinate with grant-making organizations.
- Oversee budgeting and financial management of fundraising campaigns.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase donor engagement and participation.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure successful fundraising initiatives.
