Responsibilities:

  1. Collect blood samples from patients in accordance with safety and legal regulations.
  2. Prepare blood samples for laboratory testing.
  3. Provide patient education and support related to the blood-drawing process.
  4. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  5. Establish and maintain effective communication with patients, staff, and other customers.
  6. Ensure accurate documentation of all specimens collected.
  7. Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment and supplies.
  8. Follow all safety and regulatory guidelines as outlined by the facility.
  9. Ensure accuracy of all blood-drawing processes.
  10. Report any problems, concerns, or medical errors to the appropriate personnel.
