- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, diagnose medical conditions, and develop comprehensive treatment plans for cardiology patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high quality and coordinated care.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements and best practices in cardiology and apply them in clinical practice.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, including patient history, progress notes, and test results.
- Collaborate with other physicians, nurses, and specialists to provide comprehensive care and consult on complex cases.
- Demonstrate a commitment to patient safety and quality improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards, including maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Participate in departmental meetings, training, and professional development activities.
- Engage in continuous learning and professional growth to maintain licensure and stay current in the field of cardiology.

- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, including those related to patient care, safety, and infection control.

- Serve as a mentor and resource to junior physicians and medical staff.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Medical Director or other leadership team members.
Medical Degree From An Accredited Institution: The Physician Must Have Completed A Medical Degree From An Accredited Institution, Demonstrating Their Knowledge And Skills In The Field Of Cardiology.
Board Certification In Cardiology: The Physician Must Be Board Certified In Cardiology, Indicating Their Expertise And Competency In Diagnosing And Treating Cardiovascular Diseases.
Active Medical License In The State Of Kentucky: The Physician Must Possess An Active Medical License In The State Of Kentucky, Allowing Them To Practice Medicine And Prescribe Medications.
Prior Experience In A Cardiology Setting: Previous Experience In A Cardiology Setting Is Preferred, As It Shows The Physician's Familiarity With The Specialty And Its Unique Challenges.
Availability For Prn (As Needed) Shifts: As A Prn Physician, The Candidate Must Be Available For Shifts As Needed, Including Weekends And Holidays. This Requires Flexibility And A Commitment To Providing Quality Patient Care On A Part-Time Basis.
