Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate PRN Nursing Support Tech to join our Intensive Care Unit team at Baptist Health in Kentucky. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and excellent communication and customer service skills. You will be part of a dynamic and dedicated team of professionals focused on providing the highest level of patient care.To be successful in this role, you must have an active Nursing Support Tech certification in Kentucky, and a minimum of two years of experience in a healthcare setting. You must also have an understanding of medical terminology and procedures. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide compassionate and high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Intensive Care Unit setting.
  2. Adhere to all policies and procedures set out by Baptist Health and the Kentucky State Board of Nursing.
  3. Maintain an active Nursing Support Tech certification in Kentucky.
  4. Ensure that all patient medical records are current and accurate.
  5. Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills when interacting with patients, visitors, and other healthcare professionals.
  6. Demonstrate a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  7. Maintain an understanding of medical terminology and procedures.
  8. Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
  9. Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
  10. Participate in training and continuing education activities as required.
