Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse Pre-Op to join the team at Baptist Health in Kentucky. In this role, you’ll be responsible for providing quality preoperative care for patients undergoing various surgical procedures. You’ll need to have excellent clinical and communication skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and a dedication to providing the highest level of care to our patients. To be successful in this role, you must have a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kentucky, along with at least two years’ experience in preoperative care. A Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field is preferred. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide quality preoperative care for patients undergoing various surgical procedures.
  2. Possess excellent clinical and communication skills.
  3. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Dedication to providing the highest level of care to patients.
  5. Hold a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kentucky.
  6. Possess at least two years’ experience in preoperative care.
  7. Possess a Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field (preferred).
  8. Maintain a high level of patient care.
  9. Follow all safety protocols and regulations.
  10. Document patient care and progress in a timely manner.
