  1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
  2. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC equipment and systems.
  3. Ensure all HVAC systems are functioning properly and efficiently to maintain a comfortable and safe environment for employees and visitors.
  4. Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels for HVAC parts and supplies.
  5. Respond to emergency repair requests and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  6. Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
  7. Collaborate with other maintenance and facilities staff to schedule and coordinate HVAC maintenance and repairs.
  8. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance and repair tasks.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in HVAC technology to provide recommendations for improving systems.
  10. Communicate effectively with management and other departments regarding any HVAC-related issues or concerns.
  11. Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure proper care and storage of tools and equipment.
  12. Continuously identify and implement improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of HVAC systems.
  13. Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Job Qualifications

  • Hvac Certification: A Qualified Candidate For This Position Should Possess A Valid Hvac Certification, Such As Epa 608 Universal, Indicating A Thorough Understanding Of Refrigerant Handling And Safety Protocols.

  • Experience In Commercial Hvac Maintenance: Prospective Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Commercial Hvac Maintenance, Including Troubleshooting And Repair Of Complex Hvac Systems.

  • Knowledge Of Building Automation Systems (Bas): Baxter International Operates A Variety Of Buildings With Advanced Hvac Systems That Are Controlled By A Bas. Candidates Should Have Experience Working With Bas Systems And Be Able To Diagnose And Troubleshoot Any Issues That May Arise.

  • Electrical And Mechanical Knowledge: The Role Of A Commercial Hvac Maintenance Mechanic Requires A Strong Understanding Of Both Electrical And Mechanical Systems. Candidates Should Be Proficient In Reading Blueprints, Schematics, And Wiring Diagrams To Identify And Repair Any Issues.
