- Develop and implement strategies to ensure the quality and safety of our products through effective management of suppliers.
- Lead a team of supplier quality assurance professionals to achieve department goals and objectives.
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure open communication and collaboration.
- Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Identify areas for improvement in supplier processes and work with suppliers to implement corrective actions.
- Monitor and track supplier performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sourcing, engineering, and manufacturing, to evaluate and qualify new suppliers.
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations related to supplier quality assurance.
- Develop and maintain supplier quality agreements and contracts.
- Investigate and resolve supplier-related quality issues and implement preventive measures.
- Communicate regularly with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, to provide updates on supplier quality performance.
- Lead training initiatives to ensure suppliers are aware of quality requirements and expectations.
- Collaborate with suppliers to develop and implement quality improvement plans.
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation related to supplier quality assurance activities.
- Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the supplier quality assurance team and across the organization.
Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or Related Field: A Lead, Supplier Quality Assurance At Baxter International Should Have A Strong Educational Background In Engineering Or A Related Field To Have A Solid Understanding Of Quality Assurance Principles And Processes.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Supplier Management And Quality Assurance: This Role Requires A Candidate With At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Supplier Quality Assurance, Including Managing Supplier Relationships And Conducting Audits.
Strong Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements And Standards: Baxter International Is A Highly Regulated Industry, So A Lead, Supplier Quality Assurance Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Relevant Regulations And Standards Such As Fda Guidelines, Iso 13485, And Cgmp.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills: As A Lead, This Role Requires Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Engage With Suppliers. Strong Leadership Skills Are Also Essential To Manage And Mentor A Team Of Quality Assurance Professionals.
Experience In Risk Management And Problem-Solving: A Successful Candidate For This Role Should Have A Proven Track Record In Identifying And Mitigating Quality Risks, As Well As The Ability To Effectively Troubleshoot And Resolve Quality Issues In A Timely Manner.
