- Oversee daily operations of the chemistry lab, ensuring that all procedures and processes are followed accurately and efficiently.
- Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure the highest level of accuracy and precision in all testing procedures.
- Train and supervise lab technicians, ensuring that they are properly trained and following all safety protocols.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all lab processes and procedures.
- Monitor lab equipment and troubleshoot any technical issues to ensure accurate and timely test results.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and quality standards.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of lab processes to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all lab activities and test results.
- Communicate any quality or safety concerns to management and work to resolve them in a timely manner.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in chemistry testing methods to continuously improve lab processes and procedures.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and promote a strong commitment to quality throughout the lab.
- Ensure that all lab personnel are trained on and follow proper safety protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new testing methods and technologies.
- Participate in hiring and onboarding of new lab staff, ensuring that they are properly trained and integrated into the lab team.
- Act as a mentor and coach to lab staff, providing guidance and support as needed to promote professional development and growth.
Bachelor's Degree In Chemistry Or Related Field: The Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Possess A Strong Educational Background In Chemistry Or A Closely Related Field. This Will Ensure That The Individual Has The Necessary Technical Knowledge And Skills To Oversee The Quality Lab Operations.
Previous Experience In A Supervisory Role: A Quality Lab Supervisor At Baxter International Must Have Prior Experience In A Supervisory Or Managerial Role. This Will Demonstrate Their Ability To Effectively Lead A Team And Manage Day-To-Day Operations In A Fast-Paced Laboratory Environment.
Knowledge Of Quality Control Processes And Regulations: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Quality Control Processes And Regulations, Such As Iso And Fda Guidelines. This Will Ensure That They Can Maintain Compliance And Uphold The Highest Quality Standards In The Laboratory.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: The Quality Lab Supervisor Will Be Responsible For Troubleshooting And Resolving Any Quality Issues That Arise In The Lab. Therefore, The Candidate Must Possess Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills To Identify The Root Cause Of Problems And Implement Effective Solutions.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Supervisor, The Candidate Will Be Required To Effectively Communicate With Team Members, Managers, And Other Departments.
