LPN Orthopedics & Sports Medicine

We are currently searching for a passionate and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Orthopedics & Sports Medicine team at Billings Clinic. In this role, you will provide direct patient care, utilizing your expertise in orthopedics & sports medicine to assist our patients on their journey to full health. As such, the ideal candidate for this position is someone who is knowledgeable and experienced in this field, and enjoys the challenge of tackling complex orthopedic issues. The successful applicant will have a current LPN license and a minimum of two years’ experience in orthopedics & sports medicine. Additionally, you will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for helping others. Responsibilities:

1. Provide direct patient care, utilizing expertise in orthopedics and sports medicine.
2. Monitor patient progress and modify treatments as needed to ensure best outcomes.
3. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
4. Assist in creating and following patient care plans.
5. Educate the patient and family members on the course of treatment and other relevant information.
6. Follow all safety protocols and adhere to infection control procedures.
7. Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
8. Document patient care plans and other relevant information in the patient’s medical records.
9. Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality care.
10. Participate in training and professional development activities.
