- Provide compassionate and empathetic support to patients struggling with mental health issues.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Monitor and document patients' progress and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients by adhering to all safety and infection control protocols.
- Assist patients with daily living activities and encourage them to participate in therapeutic activities.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and healthcare team members to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated care approach.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
- Attend and actively participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices and new developments in the mental health field.
- Advocate for patients' needs and rights, and provide appropriate resources and referrals as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
- Continuously strive to improve the quality of care provided by seeking feedback and implementing suggestions for improvement.
- Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude towards patients, their families, and colleagues.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Attend and complete all required trainings and certifications to maintain job competency.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills
Bachelor's Degree In Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Or Related Field
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Mental Health Setting
Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Practices And Treatment Modalities For Various Mental Health Disorders
