- Maintain the aesthetic appearance of the store by ensuring all displays, signage, and products are visually appealing and in line with the Bloomingdale's brand.
- Collaborate with visual merchandising team to create and execute visually stunning displays that showcase our products and tell a cohesive brand story.
- Keep up-to-date with current fashion trends and incorporate them into displays and merchandising techniques.
- Work closely with sales associates to understand and meet the needs of customers, providing excellent customer service and creating a memorable shopping experience.
- Ensure that all products are properly stocked, organized, and displayed in their designated areas, making it easy for customers to find and purchase items.
- Utilize creativity and innovation to continuously improve and enhance the visual presentation of the store.
- Regularly inspect and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the store, including display areas, backrooms, and storage areas.
- Assist in receiving and unpacking merchandise, as needed.
- Communicate effectively with management team to report any issues or concerns with displays, products, or the overall appearance of the store.
- Adhere to all safety and security protocols, ensuring the protection of store assets and the safety of customers and employees.
- Attend training sessions and stay updated on visual merchandising techniques and company standards.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet the needs of the business.
Strong Visual Merchandising Skills: A Successful Visual Support Associate At Bloomingdale's Should Possess A Keen Eye For Design, Knowledge Of Current Fashion Trends, And The Ability To Create Visually Appealing Displays That Highlight The Store's Merchandise.
Retail Experience: Previous Experience Working In A Retail Environment, Particularly In A Visual Merchandising Or Sales Role, Is Highly Desirable For This Position. This Demonstrates A Familiarity With The Industry And An Understanding Of Customer Needs.
Creativity And Attention To Detail: A Visual Support Associate Must Be Able To Think Creatively And Pay Close Attention To Detail When Creating Displays And Arranging Merchandise. This Helps To Attract And Engage Customers, Ultimately Contributing To Sales.
Communication And Collaboration Skills: As A Member Of The Visual Merchandising Team, A Visual Support Associate Must Possess Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills.
