- Conduct thorough risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential safety issues and propose solutions.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure that safety considerations are integrated into the development and manufacturing processes.
- Monitor and evaluate the safety performance of aerospace systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Keep up-to-date with advancements in safety technology and trends in the aerospace industry, and integrate new techniques and processes into the safety program.
- Communicate safety information and updates to relevant stakeholders, including management, engineers, and other departments.
- Conduct safety training for employees and contractors, ensuring that all personnel are aware of safety protocols and procedures.
- Participate in design reviews and other engineering activities to provide input on safety considerations.
- Investigate and analyze safety incidents and provide recommendations for prevention and mitigation.
- Collaborate with regulatory agencies and participate in audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of safety processes and procedures.
- Provide support and guidance to other engineers and project teams on safety-related matters.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of safety processes and procedures within the company.
- Represent the company in industry conferences and events related to aerospace safety.
Bachelor's Degree In Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Aerospace Systems Safety Engineering.
Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Regulations, Such As Faa Regulations, Mil-Stds, And As9100.
Experience With Safety Analysis Techniques, Such As Fmea, Fta, And Fault Tree Analysis.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams.
