  1. Assemble and solder components onto circuit boards using specialized tools and techniques.
  2. Read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and work instructions to ensure accurate assembly.
  3. Inspect and test completed circuit boards for functionality and quality assurance.
  4. Troubleshoot and repair any faulty components or connections.

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge Of Electronic Circuitry And Components: A Circuit Card Assembly Specialist At Boeing Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Electronic Circuitry And Components, Including Microchips, Resistors, Capacitors, And Other Essential Parts. This Knowledge Is Crucial For Troubleshooting And Repairing Circuit Card Assemblies.

  • Experience With Assembly And Soldering Techniques: As A Circuit Card Assembly Specialist, One Should Be Proficient In Various Assembly And Soldering Techniques, Such As Surface Mount Technology (Smt) And Through-Hole Soldering. This Skill Is Necessary For Producing High-Quality, Reliable Circuit Card Assemblies.

  • Familiarity With Industry Standards And Specifications: Boeing Follows Strict Industry Standards And Specifications For Its Circuit Card Assemblies, And A Qualified Specialist Should Be Familiar With Them. This Includes Standards Such As Ipc-A-610 For Soldering And J-Std-001 For Electronic Assemblies.

  • Ability To Read And Interpret Technical Drawings And Schematics: A Circuit Card Assembly Specialist Should Be Able To Read And Interpret Technical Drawings And Schematics To Ensure The Correct Placement And Orientation Of Components. This Skill Is Essential For Producing Accurate And Functional Circuit Card Assemblies.
