- Develop and implement efficient fabrication processes and procedures for aircraft components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate production of parts and components.
- Conduct research and analyze data to identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Monitor and maintain quality control standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations and customer requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to minimize downtime and ensure on-time delivery.
- Create and maintain accurate documentation of fabrication processes, including drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Train and mentor production personnel on new processes and equipment.
- Identify and implement new technologies and techniques to improve fabrication processes.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and parts.
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical input to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate production metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with company and OSHA regulations.
- Stay updated on industry advancements and trends to ensure Boeing remains at the forefront of aerospace manufacturing.
- Provide timely and accurate reports to management regarding production status and any issues.
- Embrace and promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the fabrication team.
Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Engineering Or A Related Field, With A Focus On Manufacturing Or Fabrication Processes.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Manufacturing Or Fabrication Engineering Role, Preferably In The Aerospace Industry.
In-Depth Knowledge And Experience With Fabrication Techniques And Processes Such As Welding, Machining, And Sheet Metal Forming.
Familiarity With Industry Standards And Regulations, Such As As9100 And Nadcap, And Experience Implementing Them In A Manufacturing Environment.
Strong Problem-Solving Skills And The Ability To Analyze And Troubleshoot Production Issues In A Fast-Paced, High-Volume Manufacturing Environment.
