  1. Oversee the daily operations of the Failure Analysis Lab, ensuring efficient and timely completion of tasks.
  2. Lead a team of engineers and technicians to conduct thorough and accurate failure analysis investigations.
  3. Develop and implement standard procedures and protocols for conducting failure analysis.
  4. Collaborate with various departments within the company to gather relevant data and information for analysis.
  5. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in failure analysis techniques.
  6. Monitor and maintain equipment and tools in the lab to ensure proper functionality and safety.
  7. Communicate and present findings and recommendations to upper management and other stakeholders.
  8. Manage the lab's budget and resources effectively.
  9. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
  10. Train and mentor junior staff members in failure analysis techniques and procedures.
  11. Continuously evaluate and improve processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  12. Represent the company in external meetings and conferences related to failure analysis.
  13. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment within the lab.
  14. Serve as a subject matter expert on all failure analysis matters.
  15. Take on additional responsibilities and projects as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In A Leadership Role Within A Failure Analysis Or Materials Laboratory Setting.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Or A Related Field.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Failure Analysis Techniques, Including Metallography, Spectroscopy, And Non-Destructive Testing.

  • Experience With Budget Management, Inventory Control, And Procurement Processes.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Present Findings To Stakeholders.
