  1. Operate and maintain various types of machinery such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to produce high-quality aircraft components.
  2. Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate production of parts.
  3. Perform precise measurements using tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure parts meet specifications.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machinery or parts to maintain production efficiency.
  5. Collaborate with engineers and other team members to identify and implement process improvements.
  6. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized work area to prevent accidents and promote efficiency.
  8. Adhere to strict quality control standards to ensure the production of defect-free parts.
  9. Continuously monitor and adjust machines to maintain precision and accuracy.
  10. Keep detailed records and documentation of production processes and completed parts.
  11. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in machining technology.
  12. Train and mentor new or less experienced machinists.

Job Qualifications
  • Proficiency In Reading And Interpreting Technical Drawings And Blueprints: As A General Machinist At Boeing, You Will Be Responsible For Fabricating And Repairing Various Aircraft Components. This Requires A Strong Understanding Of Technical Drawings And Blueprints To Ensure Precision And Accuracy In Your Work.

  • Experience With Manual And Cnc Machining Equipment: As A General Machinist, You Will Be Expected To Operate A Variety Of Manual And Computer Numerical Control (Cnc) Machines Such As Lathes, Mills, And Grinders. Experience And Proficiency In Using These Machines Is Essential For This Role.

  • Knowledge Of Various Materials And Their Properties: Boeing Uses A Wide Range Of Materials In Their Aircraft, Including Aluminum, Titanium, And Composites. A General Machinist Should Have A Good Understanding Of The Properties And Behaviors Of These Materials To Select The Appropriate Tools And Techniques For Machining.
