- Develop and implement security policies and procedures to protect company assets, including physical, personnel, and information security.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating potential security threats.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of government regulations and requirements related to industrial security, and ensure compliance with these regulations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for government agencies and auditors regarding security matters.
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on security protocols and procedures.
- Manage and oversee security clearance processes for employees and contractors.
- Conduct investigations into potential security incidents and take appropriate action to address any breaches.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as HR and IT, to ensure all security measures are integrated into company operations.
- Monitor and assess security risks and vulnerabilities, and make recommendations for improvements.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in security technology, and make recommendations for implementing new systems or procedures.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management on security operations and any potential risks or threats.
- Foster a culture of security awareness and responsibility among all employees.
- Oversee the physical security of company facilities, including access control and surveillance systems.
- Manage and maintain relationships with external security vendors and contractors.
- Respond promptly and effectively to any security incidents or emergencies.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Security Management, Criminal Justice, Or Business Administration.
Minimum Of 5-7 Years Of Experience In Industrial Security, Preferably In A Large Organization Or Government Agency.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Government Regulations And Standards Related To Industrial Security, Including Nispom, Dod 5220.22-M, And Itar.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Internal And External Stakeholders, Including Government Agencies, Contractors, And Employees.
Professional Certifications Such As Certified Protection Professional (Cpp) Or Facility Security Officer (Fso) Are Highly Preferred.
