- Develop and implement compliant benefit plans in accordance with relevant regulations and company policies.
- Lead a team of benefits compliance specialists to ensure timely and accurate execution of benefit plans.
- Monitor and interpret changes in benefits regulations and legislation, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that benefit plans align with company objectives and overall compensation strategy.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on benefits compliance matters, providing guidance and support to HR and management teams.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of benefit plan data to relevant government agencies.
- Identify and address potential compliance issues, and develop and implement solutions to mitigate risks.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in benefits compliance.
- Communicate complex benefits information in a clear and understandable manner to employees and relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with external vendors and consultants to ensure compliance with benefit plan requirements.
- Train and mentor team members on benefits compliance and regulations.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives related to benefits compliance, as assigned by management.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures related to benefits compliance.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment within the team.
Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Benefits Compliance, Preferably In A Large Corporate Environment.
Extensive Knowledge Of Federal And State Laws Related To Employee Benefits, Such As Erisa, Aca, And Cobra.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret Complex Regulations And Develop Compliant Solutions.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Effectively Communicate Compliance Issues To All Levels Of The Organization.
