- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and understand business objectives and requirements.
- Conduct thorough analysis and evaluation of current business processes and systems.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and business leaders, to design and implement technology solutions.
- Provide guidance and support to project teams throughout the development lifecycle.
- Act as a liaison between the business and technical teams to ensure alignment and understanding of project goals and deliverables.
- Conduct user acceptance testing to ensure the final product meets business requirements.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve processes and systems.
- Facilitate meetings and workshops to gather requirements and communicate updates and progress.
- Identify and communicate potential risks and issues and propose solutions to address them.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize and manage project backlog.
- Train and mentor junior business analysts and team members as needed.
- Participate in project planning, estimation, and budgeting.
- Ensure project deliverables are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and systems to support business goals and objectives.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the organization's IT infrastructure and systems.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Extensive Experience In Business Analysis: A Senior It Business Analyst At Boyd Gaming Must Have A Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Experience In Business Analysis, With A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Leading And Managing Complex Projects.
Strong Technical Knowledge: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of It Systems And Applications, As Well As The Ability To Translate Technical Concepts Into Business Terms. They Should Also Have Experience In Data Analysis And Database Management.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Senior It Business Analyst, The Candidate Will Be Required To Collaborate With Various Stakeholders, Including Business Users, It Teams, And External Vendors. Hence, Strong Communication, Presentation, And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For This Role.
Proven Problem-Solving And Critical Thinking Abilities: The Candidate Must Have A Strong Analytical Mindset And Be Able To Identify, Analyze, And Solve Complex Business Problems.
