Senior Payroll Analyst

1. Oversee all aspects of payroll processing for the company, including but not limited to, data entry, payroll calculations, and payroll tax filings.
2. Ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies, state and federal regulations, and tax laws.
3. Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations and implement necessary changes to ensure compliance.
4. Conduct regular audits and reviews of payroll data to identify and resolve any discrepancies.
5. Process payroll for all employees, including salaried, hourly, and commission-based employees.
6. Respond to employee inquiries and concerns regarding payroll in a timely and professional manner.
7. Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of new hires, terminations, and employee changes.
8. Generate and distribute payroll reports to management and other departments as needed.
9. Assist in the development and implementation of payroll policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
10. Train and mentor junior payroll staff as needed.
11. Maintain confidentiality of all payroll information and adhere to strict data protection guidelines.
12. Utilize payroll software to process payroll and maintain employee records.
13. Work closely with accounting and finance departments to reconcile payroll and resolve any discrepancies.
14. Provide excellent customer service to employees and management regarding payroll inquiries and concerns.
15. Complete other payroll-related tasks and projects as assigned by management.
