1. Develop and maintain relationships with potential vendors and suppliers to ensure a reliable and diverse network of resources.
2. Conduct market research to identify new and innovative vendors, as well as monitor current vendors for performance and pricing.
3. Collaborate with internal departments to understand their sourcing needs and develop strategies to meet those needs.
4. Review and evaluate vendor proposals, negotiate contracts, and make recommendations for vendor selection.
5. Monitor and analyze industry trends and supply chain developments to identify potential cost savings and process improvements.
6. Maintain accurate and organized records of all vendor contracts, agreements, and pricing information.
7. Communicate effectively with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services and resolve any issues that may arise.
8. Work closely with the finance team to ensure proper budgeting and cost control for all sourcing activities.
9. Continuously seek out opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency and reduce costs.
10. Comply with all company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, related to sourcing and procurement.
