  1. Conduct research and analysis to support the development of innovative medicines for patients with serious diseases.
  2. Utilize expertise in toxicology to design and execute experiments and studies.
  3. Lead and mentor a team of scientists in toxicology and provide guidance on experimental design and data analysis.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including pharmacology, chemistry, and clinical development to advance drug candidates.
  5. Develop and implement toxicology strategies to support drug development programs.
  6. Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and industry standards in all toxicology studies.
  7. Communicate study results, conclusions, and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
  8. Stay updated on new developments and trends in toxicology and incorporate them into the drug development process.
  9. Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with toxicology studies.
  10. Contribute to the writing and review of regulatory documents, including INDs, NDAs, and briefing documents.
  11. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all experiments and studies.
  12. Represent the company at scientific conferences and meetings.
  13. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the toxicology team.
  14. Manage and allocate resources effectively to meet project timelines and goals.
  15. Maintain a safe and compliant working environment in the laboratory.
  16. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by senior management.

Job Qualifications
  • Phd In Toxicology Or Related Field: A Scientific Associate Director At Bristol-Myers Squibb Should Have A Strong Academic Background In Toxicology Or A Related Field, Such As Pharmacology Or Environmental Health.

  • Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Industry Experience: This Position Requires A Significant Amount Of Experience In The Pharmaceutical Industry, Preferably In A Toxicology-Related Role.

  • Knowledge Of Drug Development Process: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Drug Development Process, Including Regulatory Requirements And Guidelines For Toxicology Studies.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: As A Scientific Associate Director, The Individual Will Be Responsible For Managing A Team Of Scientists And Technicians. Therefore, Strong Leadership Skills And The Ability To Effectively Communicate And Collaborate With Others Are Essential.

  • Experience With Nonclinical Safety Assessment: Bristol-Myers Squibb Places A Strong Emphasis On Nonclinical Safety Assessment In Its Drug Development Process. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience In This Area, Including Designing And Overseeing Toxicology Studies And Interpreting Data.
