- Oversee and manage all aspects of airport operations, including but not limited to, security, customer service, facilities, and staff.
- Ensure that airport facilities are well-maintained and comply with all safety and security regulations.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of airport operations.
- Train, supervise, and schedule airport staff to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate airport processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure a seamless and positive experience for passengers.
- Maintain strong relationships with airlines, vendors, and other partners to ensure smooth operations and high-quality service.
- Handle and resolve any customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Develop and manage the airport budget, ensuring cost-effective operations and adherence to financial targets.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and identify opportunities to enhance operations.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure all airport facilities and equipment are functioning properly and meeting safety standards.
- Prepare reports and presentations on airport performance, including passenger traffic, revenue, and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and manage airport resources, including personnel, equipment, and supplies, to ensure efficient use and cost-effectiveness.
- Stay informed about any potential security threats or emergency situations and develop and implement appropriate contingency plans.
- Represent the airport and British Airways in a professional and positive manner at industry events and meetings.
Bachelor's Degree In Aviation Management Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Airport Operations, Preferably At A Major International Airport.
Strong Leadership And Management Skills, With A Proven Track Record Of Successful Team Management.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Aviation Regulations And Safety Protocols.
Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Various Stakeholders, Including Airlines, Airport Authorities, And Government Agencies.
