  3. Repair or replace damaged or malfunctioning cabin equipment and furnishings.
  4. Conduct thorough inspections of cabin interiors to identify and address any potential hazards or deficiencies.
  5. Collaborate with other mechanics and maintenance personnel to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks.
  6. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed on cabin interiors.
  7. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on aircrafts.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and new technologies related to aircraft cabin maintenance.
  9. Communicate effectively with colleagues and superiors to report progress, issues, and recommendations.
  10. Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly and professionally to passenger inquiries or concerns related to cabin interiors.

Job Qualifications
  • Technical Skills: A Cabin Mechanic At British Airways Must Possess A Strong Understanding Of Aircraft Systems And Components, As Well As The Ability To Troubleshoot And Repair Them. This Includes Knowledge Of Airframe, Engines, And Avionics Systems.

  • Experience: Candidates For This Role Should Have A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Aircraft Maintenance, With A Focus On Cabin Maintenance. Previous Experience At A Major Airline Or Mro (Maintenance, Repair, And Overhaul) Facility Is Preferred.

  • Certifications: A Cabin Mechanic Must Hold A Valid Faa Airframe And Powerplant (A&P) Certificate, As Well As Any Other Relevant Certifications Such As A Fcc Radiotelephone Operator's License, Or A Grol (General Radiotelephone Operator License).

  • Attention To Detail: The Safety And Comfort Of Passengers Is The Top Priority For British Airways, And Therefore, Cabin Mechanics Must Have Excellent Attention To Detail And A High Level Of Accuracy In Their Work. This Includes Following Detailed Technical Manuals And Completing Thorough Inspections.

  • Teamwork And Communication: Cabin Mechanics Work Closely With Other Maintenance Personnel, As Well As Flight And Cabin Crew Members. Therefore, Candidates Should Have Strong Teamwork And Communication Skills To Effectively Collaborate And Communicate In A Fast-Paced Environment.
