  1. Ensure safe and efficient operation of all flights by monitoring and analyzing flight data, identifying potential risks, and implementing necessary corrective actions.
  2. Lead and manage a team of pilots, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards and procedures.
  3. Develop and maintain operational procedures, manuals, and policies in accordance with industry regulations and best practices.
  4. Collaborate with various departments, including maintenance, crew scheduling, and dispatch, to optimize flight operations and minimize disruptions.
  5. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety, security, and operational standards.
  6. Monitor and manage operational budgets, evaluating and implementing cost-saving measures where appropriate.
  7. Stay updated on industry developments, regulations, and technological advancements to continuously improve and innovate flight operations.
  8. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment by promoting open communication, resolving conflicts, and recognizing and rewarding team members' contributions.
  9. Act as a liaison between the flight operations team and senior management, providing regular updates and reports on performance and any issues or concerns.
  10. Represent British Airways at industry events, conferences, and meetings, showcasing our commitment to excellence and promoting our brand.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 10 Years Experience In A Leadership Role Within The Aviation Industry, Preferably With A Major Airline Such As British Airways.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Flight Operations Procedures, Regulations, And Safety Protocols.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage And Lead A Diverse Team.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Optimizing Flight Schedules, Crew Assignments, And Operational Budgets.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Aviation Management, Business Administration, Or A Related Field. Additional Certifications Or Training In Aviation Safety, Security, Or Operations Management Is A Plus.
