We are looking for a motivated Environmental Scientist to join the Burns & McDonnell team and help us achieve our mission of creating innovative solutions to complex environmental issues. As an Environmental Scientist, you will provide invaluable technical expertise to our team and use your experience to help us protect the environment and develop sustainable solutions.The ideal candidate should have a passion for the environment and a strong academic background in environmental science, engineering, or a related field. We are looking for a candidate with excellent problem-solving and communication skills who is comfortable working in a team environment. In addition, the successful candidate should possess the following qualifications:
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and develop solutions to environmental problems.
- Monitor and analyze environmental changes to identify potential risks.
- Prepare and present technical reports on research findings.
- Develop and implement sustainable environmental policies and practices.
- Collaborate with other professionals in the field to identify and address environmental issues.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, regulators, and other agencies to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
- Advise clients on environmental issues related to their operations.
- Utilize GIS systems, modeling, and mapping tools to analyze and interpret environmental data.
- Monitor and assess the impact of activities on the environment.
- Develop and implement environmental management plans.
