Job Description

Create excellent, original branded and editorial content that will delight (and help grow) BuzzFeed’s enormous audience. Be a thoughtful, creative writer across a variety of genres, frames and formats. Develop pitch decks and other client-facing materials with creativity strategy and ideas, and execute on those ideas once sold through. Brainstorm, pitch ideas internally and to clients, and collaborate with teams across different disciplines and markets. Copy-edit and help develop the work of other writers. Source and/or create gifs, photos, and other imagery for your posts. Use data from relevant platforms to inform future content ideas, drive results, and develop audiences. Work on (sometimes tight) deadlines to deliver branded work that exceeds expectations on time, every time. Opportunity to collaborate on BuzzFeed videos, including videos for BuzzFeed’s media brands, Tasty and Bring Me.

Job Qualifications

2+ years of written content experience
Experience using social platforms and an interest in what drives people to share content on the web
Experience writing funny, engaging content across different formats and verticals
Experience working quickly and efficiently while keeping a cool head under pressure
