- Develop and execute the overall strategy for data products that support external stakeholder engagement and advocacy efforts.
- Identify and prioritize key data product opportunities to drive business goals and meet stakeholder needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders, to design and build innovative data products.
- Lead a team of data product managers to drive the development and launch of new data products.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for data products and make data-driven decisions to continuously improve and optimize their performance.
- Build relationships with external stakeholders and leverage data products to drive engagement and advocacy efforts.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in data product management, and incorporate them into strategy and execution.
- Communicate updates, progress, and results to senior leadership and stakeholders on a regular basis.
- Manage and allocate resources effectively to ensure timely delivery of data products.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture, providing mentorship and guidance to team members.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of product documentation, including product roadmaps, requirements, and user guides.
- Manage the budget for data product development and ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct market and competitive research to inform product strategy and identify new opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations in all data product development and implementation.
- Represent the company and its data products at industry events, conferences, and other external engagements.

This Will Be Crucial In Representing Capital One's Interests And Building Strong Partnerships.
Exceptional Communication Skills: The Director Must Possess Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, To Effectively Convey Complex Data Concepts And Product Strategies To Internal And External Audiences. This Includes The Ability To Tailor Messaging To Different Stakeholders And Handle Sensitive Information With Discretion.
