  1. Operate and maintain various packaging machines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  2. Ensure all packaging equipment is set up and calibrated correctly according to product specifications.
  3. Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to maintain product quality and maximize efficiency.
  4. Conduct regular quality checks on packaged products to ensure they meet company and client standards.
  5. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  6. Keep accurate records of production and equipment maintenance.
  7. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or malfunctions with packaging equipment.
  8. Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth production flow and timely completion of tasks.
  9. Maintain a clean and organized work area to comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  10. Continuously seek ways to improve processes and increase efficiency.
  11. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in packaging technology.
  12. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including confidentiality and data security.
  13. Represent the company in a professional manner and uphold its reputation for high-quality products.
  14. Train and mentor new packaging operators as needed.
  15. Communicate effectively with team members and management about production status and any issues that arise.

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Education Requirement For A Packaging Machine Operator At Catalent Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Basic Understanding Of Math And Reading Skills Necessary To Operate And Maintain Packaging Machinery.

  • Prior Experience In Packaging Or Manufacturing: Candidates With Prior Experience In Packaging Or Manufacturing Will Have A Better Understanding Of The Packaging Process And Machinery. This Experience May Also Include Knowledge Of Safety Protocols, Quality Control Measures, And Troubleshooting Techniques.

  • Technical Skills And Mechanical Aptitude: As A Packaging Machine Operator, Candidates Must Have A Strong Mechanical Aptitude And The Ability To Understand And Operate Complex Machinery. They Should Also Possess Technical Skills To Troubleshoot And Resolve Any Issues That May Arise During Production.

  • Attention To Detail And Quality Control: Packaging Machine Operators Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Be Able To Maintain High Levels Of Quality Control. This Ensures That The Packaging Process Is Completed Accurately And Efficiently, And That All Products Meet The Company’s Standards.
