Job Description

We're looking for a motivated and organized Tech Services Technician to join our team at Catalent. This position involves providing technical support to customers, performing installations and repairs to equipment, and responding to customer inquiries. The successful candidate will possess a wide range of technical skills, excellent customer service and communication abilities, and a commitment to meeting customer needs. We're looking for a team player with a positive attitude and an eagerness to learn and grow.To qualify for this role, you must have at least 2 years of experience in a technical support role, preferably in a pharmaceutical or medical device environment. You must also have experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment and be able to read and interpret blueprints. A Bachelor's degree in electronics, engineering, or a related field is preferred. Additionally, you must be customer service-oriented, self-motivated, and have the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide technical support to customers including answering customer inquiries, troubleshooting and resolving technical problems, and providing product information.
  2. Perform installations and repairs to equipment, including electrical and mechanical components.
  3. Read and interpret blueprints to diagnose and repair equipment.
  4. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, equipment repairs, and other related activities.
  5. Collaborate with other technicians and departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
  6. Remain up-to-date on industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices.
  7. Follow company policies and procedures to ensure safety and compliance.
  8. Identify and recommend process and procedure improvements.
  9. Provide training and support to other technicians.
  10. Maintain a professional and courteous attitude in all customer interactions.
