Sustainability Coordinator

At CB2, we are looking for an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Sustainability Coordinator to join our team and help us further our commitment to sustainability and green initiatives. The ideal candidate for this role will be a self-motivated individual with a passion for environmental protection and a drive to make a positive impact on the world.The Sustainability Coordinator will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing the company’s sustainability goals and initiatives. This position will work closely with CB2’s leadership to develop initiatives that reduce our overall environmental footprint and increase our positive impact on the community.We are looking for an experienced candidate with strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with multiple departments. A Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will also have experience in writing and implementing sustainability policies and strategies, as well as knowledge of green building certification systems.

Responsibilities: • Develop and implement sustainability goals and initiatives for CB2 • Work closely with CB2 leadership to develop initiatives that reduce environmental footprint and increase positive impact on the community • Analyze current sustainability initiatives for efficiency and effectiveness • Design sustainability policies and strategies • Research and evaluate green building certification systems • Monitor progress of sustainability initiatives and report to CB2 leadership • Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure effective communication and execution of sustainability initiatives • Develop and maintain relationships with sustainability-focused organizations • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in sustainability
