
Union Operating Engineer

- Maintain and operate building systems and equipment in accordance with safety standards and procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues that arise with building systems and equipment.
- Monitor and adjust building automation systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
- Communicate and coordinate with building occupants and management to understand and address any maintenance concerns.
- Create and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment logs.
- Assist with the development and implementation of building maintenance schedules and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Participate in emergency response and crisis management procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with other team members and contractors to complete projects and tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
- Keep up-to-date on industry developments and advancements in building operations and maintenance.

Valid Operating Engineer Union Certification: Cbre Group Requires All Candidates For The Union Operating Engineer Position To Hold A Valid Certification From A Recognized Union Or Trade Organization.
Experience In Commercial Or Industrial Buildings: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In Operating And Maintaining Hvac, Electrical, Plumbing, And Other Mechanical Systems In Commercial Or Industrial Buildings.
