Supply Chain Planner

This role is responsible for managing and driving key supply chain strategies within a specified product category. Identify and develop strategic initiatives that will increase inventory planning and forecasting processes for the Procurement team. Align with Product Management on product strategies, emerging technologies, partner management and category performance. Develop practices to effectively manage and monitor key supply chain metrics such as inventory turns, inventory aging, customer backorders and opportunistic “buy-in” execution. Manage and interface with key partners in developing supply chain and product strategies. Keep current on emerging technologies and industry trend in order to make sound inventory strategy decisions. Provide guidance and leadership to the buying team in areas of inventory, partner and supply chain management. Coordinate planning and forecasting efforts with individual members of the buying team.
